At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, the director, a board-certified anesthesiologist, personally performs the surgery and also manages the anesthesia one-on-one, closely monitoring each patient throughout the entire procedure. Preoperative blood tests and health screenings are conducted to ensure patient safety at every step.

A. Fat cells removed through liposuction do not grow back. However, the remaining fat cells can enlarge if you gain weight, so maintaining a healthy lifestyle after the procedure is important for preserving your results.

A. Yes. Full-body liposuction can target multiple areas at the same time, such as the arms, abdomen, and thighs. During your consultation, we will create a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs and goals.

A. Light daily activities can usually be resumed the day after the procedure, and most patients can return to office work within 1–2 weeks. We generally recommend waiting one month before strenuous exercise.

A. At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we treat the abdomen as one continuous surface covering the upper abdomen, lower abdomen, flanks, love handles and the waistline, and we set the range from there. If only one spot is suctioned, a visible border forms between that area and the area left untouched. In the consultation we first decide how far to include, from above and below the navel to the flanks and the waistline. For patients who have given birth or gone through large weight changes, stretched skin can affect the contour more than the fat does, so we check both the thickness of the fat layer and the elasticity of the skin. Visceral fat sits inside the abdominal wall and is not a target for liposuction, so in that case we explain the achievable range in the consultation first.

A. At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we set the range by looking at the full 360 degrees of the thigh together with the saddlebags, the inner thigh gap and the line under the buttocks. The front, inner, back and outer surfaces are connected, so suctioning only one surface makes it look out of step with the others. The borders above the knee and below the buttocks are where the line most easily appears to break, so we pay particular attention to the transition. The thigh is used constantly in walking and sitting, so wearing the compression garment and maintaining posture during recovery affect the result. The contour keeps changing while the swelling goes down, so the final result should be assessed over time.

A. At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we divide the arm into the full 360 degrees of the upper arm, the armpit, the accessory breast area, the shoulder blade region and the forearm. Most patients consider liposuction when fat gathers at the back of the upper arm and shows through clothing. If only the upper arm is suctioned, a border can remain where it meets the connecting areas when the arm is lowered, and there is a limit to how straight the protruding line can be made, so we look at the line running from the shoulder to the elbow as a whole. The skin on the arm is thin and the area is narrow, so taking the suction layer too shallow easily reveals irregularities, which is why we set the range carefully. Because it is a part of the body that moves often, the early recovery period may feel awkward, but it does not interfere with daily life at all.

A. Yes, at Pretty Body and Line Clinic we perform them in a single operation. Fat grafting takes fat from your own body and places it elsewhere, so the fat removed by liposuction can be purified and used directly. It is a natural combination when there is both an area to reduce and an area to fill. The operating time and the anesthesia time have to be calculated for the suction sites and the grafting sites together. The clinic director, who is a board-certified anesthesiologist, handles the anesthesia himself, which allows the operation to be performed more safely. Part of the grafted fat is absorbed, so the recovery process is also considered separately from liposuction alone.

The director who decides the areas and the range in the consultation is the one who enters the operating room, and because he is also a board-certified anesthesiologist he manages the anesthesia himself. Liposuction is an operation in which the layer and direction of the cannula are adjusted by feel, so the plan is reflected accurately only when the person who made it is the person who performs it, and anesthesia requires watching breathing and blood pressure throughout, which is easier when the operating surgeon reads that state at the same time. Before surgery we confirm through blood tests that the operation can be performed safely, and the same person follows recovery and discharge afterwards. When you look at other clinics, it is worth checking how these three roles are divided.

A. In a consultation at Pretty Body and Line Clinic, the director examines your body shape and fat layer in person and starts by deciding which areas to suction and to what extent. Even within the same abdomen, the result changes depending on whether the upper abdomen, lower abdomen or flanks are included, and that range is the surgical plan itself. Once the range is set, we explain the anesthesia method, the expected operating time, how long the compression garment is worn, and when you can return to daily life and resume exercise. There are also things we need you to tell us: medications you are taking, previous surgeries, chronic conditions, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This information changes both whether anesthesia is possible and the surgical plan.

A. Yes. There is more to check than in a first operation. Tissue that has been operated on once develops adhesions as it heals, so the border of the fat layer is not as distinct as it was originally and the remaining fat is not evenly distributed. Revision is therefore closer to evening out the uneven areas than to removing more. We can tell you whether improvement is possible and what method to use only after checking when and over what range the earlier surgery was done, where the irregularities you can feel now are, and how much elasticity the skin retains. Tissue needs time to stabilize, so we do not recommend it immediately after a previous operation.

This is possible because he is a board-certified anesthesiologist, and because the person who plans the anesthesia and the person who operates are the same, no information is lost along the way. Before surgery we confirm through blood tests that your body can tolerate anesthesia, and after the operation the same person monitors your condition through recovery and discharge. A. Yes. At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, the attending medical team handles everything directly from the first consultation through surgery and aftercare, and we do not allow substitute surgery. Liposuction is an operation in which the layer and direction of the cannula are adjusted by feel, so the plan is reflected accurately only when the person who set the range in the consultation is the person who enters the operating room. The areas and range decided in the consultation are confirmed with you once more before surgery.

A. At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we do not recommend areas that are not necessary. In the consultation the director examines your body shape and fat layer in person and decides. Widening the range of liposuction increases both the recovery burden and the anesthesia time, so treating a larger area is not always an advantage. In the consultation we listen to the contour you want and first decide how far the areas actually needed to create that contour extend. If the situation cannot be resolved by liposuction alone, such as when stretched skin rather than fat is the cause, we tell you so on the spot.
