When do swelling and bruising go down after liposuction? When does the area become hard and lumpy?

At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we advise that major swelling and bruising usually last about 2 weeks after surgery. Hardness and lumps in the operated area appear from 3 weeks after surgery and gradually improve over time.
When will I see the final result?
The contour keeps changing while the swelling goes down. It varies from person to person, but the final result takes shape over 3–6 months.
Radiofrequency care
At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we provide radiofrequency (RF) care as part of aftercare, and you can start it after the stitches are removed. The stitches are removed on day 10 after surgery.
Compression garment
We recommend wearing the compression garment 24 hours a day for the first week, and after that taking it off only when you sleep, for about 1–2 months.
What to avoid
We advise that drinking, smoking, saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses) and swimming are possible from 1 month after surgery. Strenuous exercise should also wait until 1 month after surgery.
