Terms of Service

① These user Terms of Pretty Body and Line Clinic (https://prettybodyandline.com) (the "Terms") set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and the Clinic in relation to the member's use of the internet-related services provided by the Clinic (the "Service").

② A person who wishes to become a member is deemed to agree to these Terms upon completing the registration procedure set by the Clinic. Matters not provided for in these Terms are governed by the relevant laws of the Republic of Korea and commercial practice.

"Member" means a person who accesses the Service, registers as an online member under these Terms, and uses the services provided by the Clinic.

① A person who wishes to become a member applies for registration by entering their member information in the registration form set by the Clinic.

② The Clinic registers an applicant under paragraph 1 as a member unless the applicant falls under any of the following.

1. The applicant has previously lost member status under Article 6 (3) of these Terms. The Clinic may refuse a re-registration application from a person who has previously lost member status.

2. The registration details contain false statements, omissions, or errors.

3. Registering the applicant is otherwise judged to cause significant technical difficulty for the Clinic.

③ The membership agreement is formed when the Clinic’s acceptance reaches the applicant.

④ If the member information entered under paragraph 1 changes, the member must correct it without delay.

① The Clinic provides members with the following services.

1. News email service

2. Online consultation request and booking service

3. Community service (writing posts and comments)

4. Members-only content (viewing treatment review photographs, etc.)

5. Provision of event and treatment information

6. Other services provided by the Clinic in partnership with other businesses

② The Clinic may change the services set out in paragraph 1, notifying members of the content and effective date of the change by the method set out in Article 7 (2).

① The Clinic may temporarily suspend the Service in the event of maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information and communications facilities, interruption of communications, or similar causes, and may discontinue the Service entirely where it replaces it with a new service or for other reasons the Clinic considers appropriate.

② In the case of suspension under paragraph 1, the Clinic notifies members by the method set out in Article 7 (2). This does not apply where prior notice is impossible due to causes beyond the Clinic’s control (disk failure or system downtime without intent or negligence on the part of the system administrator, and the like).

① A member may request withdrawal at any time, and the Clinic begins the withdrawal procedure immediately upon receiving the request. On withdrawal the Clinic deletes the member’s account information (username, email address, name, phone number, nickname, password). However, posts and comments written by the member are kept in anonymised form — the author information is deleted while the post itself remains — in order to preserve the context of conversations that other users took part in, and images attached to the posts are deleted.

② Where a member falls under any of the following, the Clinic may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member’s status by appropriate means.

1. Registering false information when applying for membership.

2. Threatening the order of electronic transactions, such as by obstructing another person’s use of the Service or misappropriating their information.

3. Using the Service to engage in acts prohibited by law or by these Terms, or contrary to public order and morals.

③ Where the Clinic decides to terminate a member’s status, it deletes the membership registration. In that case the Clinic notifies the member before deletion and gives them an opportunity to explain.

① Where the Clinic gives notice to a particular member, it may do so by text message, email, or a similar means, using the contact details registered by the member (phone number or email address).

② Where the Clinic gives notice to an unspecified number of members, posting the notice on the Clinic’s notice board for at least one week may take the place of individual notice.

The Clinic endeavours to protect members’ personal information, including registration details, as required by the relevant laws. The protection of members’ personal information is governed by the relevant laws and by the Privacy Policy established by the Clinic.

① The Clinic does not engage in acts prohibited by law or by these Terms, or contrary to public order and morals, and endeavours to provide the Service continuously and reliably as set out in these Terms.

② The Clinic maintains a security system to protect members’ personal information so that members can use the Service safely.

③ The Clinic does not send commercial advertising information to members who have not consented to receiving it, whether by email, text message, or otherwise. A member who has consented may withdraw that consent at any time, and the Clinic stops sending immediately.

① Except where the Clinic is responsible under the relevant laws or the Privacy Policy, each member is responsible for managing their own ID and password.

② A member must not allow a third party to use their ID or password.

③ If a member becomes aware that their ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, they must notify the Clinic immediately and follow the Clinic’s instructions if any are given.

① A member must not engage in any of the following acts.

1. Registering false information when applying for membership or changing member information.

2. Altering information posted on the Service.

3. Infringing the personal rights or intellectual property rights of the Clinic or a third party, or obstructing their business.

4. Misappropriating another member’s ID.

5. Posting or transmitting obscene or violent messages, images, or audio, or otherwise disclosing or posting information contrary to public order and morals.

6. Transmitting or posting information whose transmission or posting is prohibited by the relevant laws.

7. Impersonating an employee of the Clinic or an administrator of the Service, or posting under another person’s name.

8. Posting or transmitting software viruses or other computer code, files, or programs designed to disrupt or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.

9. Harassing other members, including by stalking.

10. Collecting, storing, or disclosing another member’s personal information without consent.

11. Using the Service for commercial purposes, such as by posting advertisements or promotions aimed at an unspecified number of people.

12. Otherwise violating these Terms or the rules on use of the Service.

② Where a member has engaged in an act under paragraph 1, the Clinic may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member’s status as set out in Article 6 (2) and (3).

③ A member is liable to compensate for damage suffered by the Clinic or by other members due to causes attributable to the member.

Where the content of a member’s public posting falls under any of the following, the Clinic may delete the posting without prior notice to the member and may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member’s status.

1. Content that defames or slanders another member or a third party and damages their reputation.

2. Content that distributes information, text, or figures contrary to public order and morals.

3. Content judged to be connected with criminal activity.

4. Content that infringes the copyright or other rights of another member or a third party.

5. Content that is markedly advertising or commercial in nature.

6. Content otherwise judged to violate the relevant laws.

① Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Clinic belong to the Clinic.

② A member must not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or any other means, nor allow a third party to do so, without the Clinic’s prior consent.

③ Copyright in posts and comments written by a member belongs to that member. Where a member withdraws, the Clinic deletes the author information and keeps the posting itself in anonymised form in order to preserve the context of conversations that other users took part in, and images attached to the posting are deleted.

The Clinic may decline to provide all or part of the consultation service where a consultation is requested in any of the following ways.

1. Repeatedly requesting consultation on the same matter.

2. Requesting consultation using unreasonable expressions or abusive language.

3. Requesting a consultation that demands a diagnosis.

4. Requesting consultation on treatment costs, examination costs, medicine prices, the effects of medicines, and the like.

5. Requesting consultation for the purpose of obtaining information in order to harm another person.

① The Clinic may amend these Terms to the extent that the amendment does not violate the relevant laws.

② Where the Clinic amends these Terms, it announces the amendment on the home screen together with the current Terms, stating the effective date and the reason, from seven days before the effective date until the day before it.

③ The amended Terms also apply to members who registered before the amendment, unless the amended content violates the relevant laws.

④ A member who objects to the amended Terms may withdraw under Article 6 (1).

Any lawsuit arising from a dispute over use of the Service between the Clinic and a member is brought before the court of the Republic of Korea having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

These Terms take effect on 1 September 2026.
