When are fat-dissolving injections used, and when is liposuction used?

Liposuction is an operation that directly removes fat cells beneath the skin. At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, it is performed under sedation, and a compression garment is worn for about 1–2 months after surgery. Major swelling and bruising usually last about 2 weeks.

In a consultation at Pretty Body and Line Clinic, the director examines your body shape and fat layer in person and decides. If you do not want surgery, if you have a slim build, or if you want to reduce the size of a localized area, we recommend fat-dissolving injections.

At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we do not recommend areas that are not necessary. If the situation cannot be resolved by liposuction alone, such as when stretched skin rather than fat is the cause, we tell you so on the spot.
