If I come from abroad for liposuction, how many days do I need to stay in Korea?

At Pretty Body and Line Clinic, we advise patients coming from abroad that, although it depends on the surgical range, a stay of about 2–3 days is usually enough. If the surgical range is wide, the longer you stay the better.
Can the tests and surgery be done on the same day?
Pretty Body and Line Clinic has blood testing equipment in the clinic, so you can be tested on the day of surgery and have the operation right afterward. It varies by area, but the operation usually takes 1–2 hours, and recovery takes about 2 hours as well. A staff member in charge of recovery is stationed in the recovery room, so you can come without a companion.
When can I fly after surgery?
You can fly even on the day of surgery.
What about the stitches?
The stitches are removed on day 10 after surgery. If you return home before then, you may have them removed after you get back to your own country. We show you how to disinfect the wounds yourself.
Follow-up after you return home
After you return home, we check your progress online or by video call.

Interpretation is available at the clinic. If you need an interpreter, please contact the clinic in advance.
What to know during your stay
Once 2–3 days have passed after surgery, you can shower after putting waterproof tape over the stitch sites. The compression garment is worn 24 hours a day for the first week; it is custom-made by a specialist manufacturer and must be purchased separately. Please ask the clinic how to prepare when you book.
